ingredients

  • 12 large Medjool dates
  • 6 tablespoons almond butter
  • 2/3 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Microwave the chocolate chips smooth and silky. Start with 60 seconds, and continue in 30 second intervals until melted.
  2. Cut the dates half way through and remove the pit (or purchase pitted).
  3. Stuff the date with 1/2 tbsp almond butter each and dip in the melted chocolate until completely coated.
  4. Place dates on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle each with a pinch of salt.
  5. Refrigerate dates for at least 30 minutes.
