ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 6 cloves fresh garlic
  • 2 tablespoons ginger root
  • 4 cups low sodium vegetable broth
  • 4 cups of water
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over low heat. Add in the garlic and ginger and cook while stirring continuously for 1 minute.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Strain, cool, and store for use as needed.
