- 2 4-ounce fish filets (skin on)
- 2 spritzes of avocado oil spray
- Juice from ½ lemon
- Sea salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Rinse the fish filets, pat them dry, and season with lemon juice, a sprinkle of salt, and a spritz of avocado oil.
- Heat a 10-inch skillet with a spray of avocado oil on the stove top. When the pan is hot, place the fish filets flesh-side down and let them sit undisturbed for 2 minutes or until golden.
- Carefully slide a spatula underneath the filets and flip them.
- Place the filets on a baking sheets line with foil. Put the baking sheet in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes depending upon thickness of fish.
- When you take the filets out of the oven, turn them on its side and scrape the skin off with a knife.
