ingredients
- ½ cup toasted pine nuts
- 2 lightly packed cups basil leaves
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan (leave out for a vegan version)
- 1 garlic clove
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Place all ingredients except olive oil in a food processor and start blending.
- Slowly add olive oil while blending.
- Process until smooth.
Notes
So many possibilities here. Any nut or combination of greens will do. I like:
- walnuts + basil
- almonds + 1 cup arugula + 1 cup basil
- pine nuts + 1 1/2 cup basil + 1/2 cup dill
