ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (more to taste)
- 1/4 cup Aquafaba Mayo (link) or White Bean Hummus (link), thinned with 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 sheet nori seaweed, crumbled fine (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Mash chickpeas in a medium-size bowl until desired consistency. Alternatively use a food processor and pulse (be careful to not turn it into a puree).
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well, taste and adjust lemon juice and salt.
