Dark Chocolate Almond Clusters

ingredients

  • 1 cup whole raw, unsalted almonds
  • 4 oz of dark chocolate bar, broken into pieces
  • Flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F
  2. Spread the almonds out on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roast in the oven for 7-10 minutes, until they start to smell nutty. Allow to cool.
  3. Place the chocolate in a glass bowl and microwave for 1 minute, continue heating in 30 second intervals until completely melted.
  4. Drop the almonds into the chocolate and mix.
  5. Using 2 spoons, drop 16 bite-sized portions of the mixture onto the parchment-lined tray. Do this quickly before the chocolate sets.
  6. While the chocolate is still melted, sprinkle each bite with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  7. Place in the freezer to set. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week.
